Jimmy Williams | CRO, Chief Revenue Officer

In the early days of Jimmy's sales career at First Data, his tools included a 1987 Chevy Celebrity, a demo point-of-sale terminal, blank contracts, and a ballpoint pen. "First of all, it was a Eurosport edition," he adds. As a regional rep in Philadelphia, Jimmy embraced neglected areas as opportunities. Employing a data-centric approach, he assessed customer visits, equipment, and usage from a distance. He set in-person appointments or showed up to genuinely understand their needs. "I built an opportunity scoring system based on criteria and assumptions, re-weighted based on experience." Jimmy's first year was a success, fueled by this approach. The culture of curiosity, personal relationships, and data use became integral to his work. He took client-facing leadership roles at First Data, spanning multiple lines of business, before joining Bank of America's Emerging Payments & Strategy team.

According to Jimmy, the key difference between a 200,000-person company and a 30-person company is the agility to have lunch with a client, uncover new challenges, call the CTO with an idea from the parking lot, and deliver a custom Accelitas prototype within days.
